Data Centre Migration Lead/Project Manager
Hybrid Melbourne-based contract, 12 months.
Lead a high‐profile enterprise data centre migration, working with executive stakeholders, technology vendors, and experienced infrastructure teams.
About the Role
As the Data Centre Migration Lead, you will own the migration strategy, delivery plan, governance, budget, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement across a complex enterprise infrastructure program.
You will coordinate infrastructure, storage, networking, logistics, and migration activities while managing risks and ensuring timely, business‐critical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end‐to‐end delivery of a large‐scale data centre migration.
Develop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and governance.
Manage infrastructure migration activities across servers, storage, and networks.
Drive vendor,



logistics, and stakeholder management.
Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and executive reporting.
Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring successful delivery.
About You
7+ years of project management experience within enterprise IT infrastructure.
Proven experience delivering data centre migration projects end‐to‐end.
Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, and storage.
Excellent vendor, financial, and stakeholder management experience.
Outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and executive audiences.
Melbourne‐based and able to work in a hybrid setting.
