We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Quality Sorters to join our client's waste management team in Nowra.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is looking for consistent weekday work in a supportive team environment.
You will be working within a recycling and waste processing facility, assisting with the sorting and processing of recyclable materials while ensuring site safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you may be required to:
- Manually sort recyclable materials on a processing line or within designated work areas
- Identify and separate waste streams in accordance with site requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area at all times
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Support general site duties as required
- Participate in team briefings and safety discussions About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience in waste, recycling,
manufacturing, production, or labouring environments (advantageous but not essential)
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and following procedures Essential Requirements
- Current Driver's Licence
- White Card
- Ability to pass medical and drug & alcohol testing (if required)
