Task & responsibilities

- Cleaning interior surfaces including floors, carpets, walls, windows, and fittings
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and polishing floors
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces
- Dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Using cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety standards
- Reporting maintenance issues or hazards
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies
- Following workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and company standards

Qualification & experience

Essential:

- Completion of secondary education or equivalent
- Previous experience of minimum 1–3 years in commercial, industrial, office, or facilities cleaning is highly regarded




- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and repetitive movements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to workplace health and safety practices

Desirable:

- Experience using commercial cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, polishers, and vacuum systems
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and infection control procedures
- Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable transport
- National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (where required for specific client sites)
- First Aid Certificate (advantageous)
