Base salary starting from $162,347 (pro rata) + 17% superannuation + clinical loading for eligible candidates
About the chance
The School of Rural Health (SRH) has been delivering long term rural placements for The University of Sydney year 3 and 4 medical students in Orange and Dubbo for over 20 years.
In , The University of Sydney commenced delivery of its four-year graduate entry Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program in two streams; a Metropolitan stream based on the University's Camperdown campus in Sydney, and a Dubbo stream based at the School of Rural Health in Dubbo.
We have a position available for a Senior Lecturer (Education-Focused, Clinical Education)



- Academic Support who will undertake a range of duties related to the implementation of the curriculum as well as teaching and learning activities for the Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program delivered to extended rural placement students in Orange, NSW.
In addition to teaching, this position will provide academic support and mentoring, and contribute to the pastoral support of these medical students.
Based in Orange, limited travel between rural and metropolitan sites is a requirement of this position and therefore a driver's license is required.
Some out-of-hours work is also required in this role.
The Faculty of Medicine and Health is the largest faculty in the University and contains seven academic schools /
Sydney Medical School is one of these and includes both metropolitan and rural Clinical Schools
