We're seeking a dedicated Essential Safety Measures (ESM) Auditor to join our growing team.

Preferred Experience
Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Essential Safety Measures auditing or building compliance are preferred.
Required Qualifications (or equivalent)
Diploma of Building Surveying (minimum)
Advanced Diploma of Building Surveying
As an ESM Auditor, you will assess a wide range of building types—including warehouses, offices, retail spaces, schools, and large industrial facilities.
Inspections will include:
Annual Audits (AESMR)
Exit Door and Paths of Travel inspections
Passive Fire Rating Audits and Reports
Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying non‐compliances with the BCA and relevant Australian Standards
Preparing clear, detailed audit reports using our asset management software, Uptick
Liaising with clients in a professional and supportive manner
Providing technical advice to assist clients
As part of our team structure,
our bookings department schedules all of your allocated tasks more then a month in advance—allowing you to stay focused on delivering quality audits while still being part of a well‐coordinated team.

Tech‐savvy and eager to learn - Experience using Uptick advantageous
Enthusiastic, self‐motivated, and reliable
Solid communicator with a cooperative mindset
Able to work both independently and within a team setting
Solid understanding of the NCC, BCA, and relevant Australian Standards
Hold a valid Victorian driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
Willing to obtain (or already hold) a Working With Children Check and Police Check
Willing and able to travel across metro Melbourne and regional Victoria (including occasional overnight stays) - no interstate travel required.
Australian citizenship is required
