Role
As an Arborist, you'll work alongside an experienced crew carrying out a variety of tree care and vegetation management services throughout the Mackay region.
Your duties will include
- Tree removal, pruning, trimming and general tree maintenance
- Climbing and aerial tree work where required
- Stump grinding and site clean‐up
- Operating chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, EWP's and other arboricultural equipment
- Identifying tree hazards and maintaining safe work practices
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Working collaboratively with your team while maintaining a strong focus on workplace health and safety

About You
- Certificate III in Arboriculture (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years' experience working as an Arborist
- Proven climbing and aerial tree work experience
- Current Driver Licence (MR/HR licence highly regarded)
- White Card
- Chainsaw competency/licence
- Aerial Rescue qualification
- Tree Hazard & Risk Assessment experience
- Utility vegetation management experience (highly regarded)
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team‐focused attitude
- Self‐motivated, reliable, and well organised
