Business Analyst (Fixed-term Contract)
Location: Melbourne CBD / Hybrid
Salary: Up to 140K + Superannuation

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a Consumer function on a max-term contract.
You'll partner across business and technology teams to define requirements, shape solutions, and support delivery of business-critical initiatives that improve customer experience and operational effectiveness.
Partnering with stakeholders across business and technology to gather, validate and prioritise requirements
Translating complex needs into clear requirements, user stories and analysis artefacts
Facilitating workshops, interviews, walkthroughs and discovery sessions
Documenting as-is / to-be processes, including robust process mapping (BPMN)




Supporting delivery teams through solution design, business readiness, testing and implementation
Proactively identifying process improvement prospects and driving outcomes
5+ years' experience as a BA across technology and transformation initiatives
Robust stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation and communication skills
Demonstrated capability in requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation
Experience with user story mapping and persona-based requirements gathering
Knowledge of BABOK tools/techniques (highly regarded)
Comfort using AI-enabled tools to support BA activities (desirable/advantage)
Experience in Telecommunications / Energy / Power / Gas / Electricity
Exposure to Telecommunications BSS
Background in large-scale enterprise and/or customer-facing environments
Agile delivery experience across cross-functional product teams
