About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Survey Technician to support surveying and spatial data collection across land development, construction, environmental and infrastructure projects.
Working closely with Surveyors, Engineers and Project Managers, you will contribute to both field and office activities, ensuring accurate and reliable geospatial information to support project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Fieldwork
Conduct in office surveying using total stations, GNSS/GPS, levels and laser scanners.
Assist with boundary, topographic, engineering and construction surveys.
Ensure protected and accurate operation of equipment.
Data & Technical Support
Process survey data using GIS and CAD software.
Prepare maps, diagrams and reports.
Maintain data accuracy and industry compliance.
Support project documentation and equipment maintenance.
Compliance & Safety
Follow WHS requirements and relevant legislation.
Maintain accurate survey and field records.
Skills & Qualifications
Certificate IV or Diploma in Surveying or Spatial Science (or equivalent).
Experience in field surveying, GIS or spatial data management.
Proficiency in survey instruments, AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and time management skills.
Explicit communication and ability to work collaboratively.
