About the job
Join a newly established, occupational therapy practice based in Perth WA. We're building a supportive team culture from the ground up, and we're looking for an OT who wants genuine flexibility and a say in how the practice grows.
Working primarily with NDIS participants, you'll independently manage your caseload from initial assessment through to report writing and intervention. You'll travel to clients' home across the Perth area, with the flexibility to complete your admin and documentation work from home. A dedicated office is also available if you prefer to work on-site or just want a change of scenery.
Role Description
This is a part-time or full time Occupational Therapist role based in Perth, WA. You'll assess clients' functional abilities and support needs across home, community, and work settings, developing individualised intervention plans focused on building independence and participation.
Day-to-day responsibilities include completing assessments such as Functional Capacity Assessments, delivering therapy sessions, and providing recommendations for assistive technology and environmental modifications. The role also involves supporting activities of daily living, life skills, and sensory and emotional regulation,
and capacity building, all while maintaining explicit documentation and progress reports.
You'll work collaboratively with families, support workers, and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to care planning and reviewing goals regularly to ensure person-centred outcomes.
Requirements
Experience or interest in Pediatrics, with the ability to support children and adolescents as well as adult clients
Experience in community-based or NDIS related services is highly regarded
Comfortable managing admin duties (low KPI requirements - 3.5 hrs / day)
Current AHPRA registration
Minimum a year or two years' of post-registration experience
WA Driver's licence and own vehicle for community travel
National Police Clearance
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
