KRESHTAN MOTORS is a well-established automotive repair and servicing business located in Cranbourne West- VIC -3977. The business provides all kind of automotive mechanical and electrical repairs, Air-condition repairs and regas (AU065599), LPG service and Installation, reverse sensors and cameras, satnav units and RWC.
Due to continued business growth and increasing operational demand, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
• Detecting and Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in vehicle engines and related systems using diagnostic equipment and specialised tools.
• Repairing and replacing defective or worn mechanical components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering components, and braking systems.
• Performing scheduled servicing and maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, engine tune ups, and general vehicle servicing.
• Dismantling and reassembling engines and other vehicle components in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Testing and adjusting repaired systems and components to ensure proper performance and roadworthiness.
• Conducting vehicle inspections and identifying repair requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records of repairs, services, parts used and job documentation.
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements and as per manufacturer specifications.
• Assisting with minor repairs and servicing of light commercial and heavy vehicles where required.
• Undertaking minor vehicle accessory installations and modifications where required.
Skills and Experience
• A relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic.
• Robust diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Sound knowledge of contemporary automotive repair and servicing techniques.
• Ability to work independently and within a team workplace.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.
• A current drivers License.
