JOB TITLE: Cath Lab Tech
JOB SUMMARY
Provide technical assistance to physicians and staff during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
This role supports a combo lab setting specializing in Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, Vascular, and Electrophysiology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the provider while performing diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
Scrub and circulate Interventional Radiology (IR) and Cath Lab procedures.
Scrub and circulate cardiology procedures.
Assist with the implantation of Vice Implants (PPM, ICD).
Operate specialized equipment relevant to IR and cardiology procedures.
SCHEDULE / SHIFT
8-hour day shift: 07:*:00
No holiday RTO allowed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years of experience.
Must have Interventional Radiology (IR) experience (approximately 90% of procedures are IR).
Ability to scrub and circulate diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
Ability to perform EKG lead placement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience as a traveler is not required.
ARRT Advanced Certification.
RCES certification.
RCIS certification with medical experience.

Emphasis on Interventional Radiology (approximately 80% of procedures).
FLOATING / ON-CALL
No Float Requirement.
Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend.
Call Requirement:
Minimum of 7 call days per month.
Typical schedule includes two call days per week for two weeks each month and one call weekend per month.
Additional call coverage may be required to meet departmental needs, rotated equitably among staff.
Expect urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures.
Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs; IR callback time is based on procedure type.
Call team consists of three staff members, one of whom is an RN.
