Process Operator Roles
12 hour rotating Shift Positions
Porta Products is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified persons for the above position.
The roles being offered are on a full time permanent basis located in Oberon NSW.
Porta is a manufacturing site that creates MDF board, particle board, laminate, etc.
It also operates a Woodchem site, a chemical manufacturing section that produces resin and other products used by the main site to help create the final products.
There are various areas of the site that require operator positions to be filled.
Requirements
Commitment to safety
Ability to work as part of a team or independently
Valuable communication skills (oral, listening, and written)



and a desire to learn and apply new skills
Physical fitness
Current forklift licence (desirable)
Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts (rosters will include some weekends)
Robust literacy skills, both written and verbal
Basic computer skills
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre‐employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric, drug and alcohol testing.
