Key Duties and Responsibilities Perform software design, development, implementation, maintenance, configuration management and quality control for scientific and engineering applications.

Define system/software requirements and translate customer needs into practical designs.

Use Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git and related Agile tools to manage work and collaborate with the team.

Identify roadblocks, resolve discrepancies and develop solutions where requirements or approaches are not fully defined.

Plan, design, develop, test and deploy solutions that improve performance, maintainability and delivery outcomes.

Contribute across front-end/GUI, back-end services, databases and integration APIs. Ensure integration and compliance with applicable client, industry and Defence standards.

Maintain software baselines, configuration and technical documentation, adopting recent technologies where required.

Mandatory Skills and Experience Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering,



Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

At least 5 years of software development and software-modernisation experience.

Experience in Salesforce Vlocity platform using specifically Apex, LWC, Ominiscripts, Flexcards.

Integration procedure and DataRaptors.
Experience working with OOP, frameworks & design patterns.
Experience in building and working with integration (example REST APIs, Platform Events).
Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Ominstudio Developer certified.
Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Health Cloud implementations.
Experience working with Source Control tools (e.g. GitLab) & package-based development
