We're seeking a proactive and commercially focused Commercial Accountant to provide financial and commercial support across a diverse healthcare portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Business Partner, you'll play a key role in reporting, analysis, contract management, forecasting, and business performance improvement while partnering closely with operational leaders.
Role Responsibilities | What does my day look like?
Deliver month-end reporting, P&L; analysis, journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare and distribute management reports, highlighting key financial insights.
Partner with operational stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve commercial performance.
Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
Manage invoicing, payment follow-up and commercial contract administration.
Conduct contract reviews, price escalations and variation analysis.
Assist with retention modelling, business cases and financial modelling
Drive process improvement and promote best practice across commercial activities.
Role Experience | What Do I need to Succeed?
Degree qualified and/or studying towards CA or CPA.
Previous management accounting experience within a corporate environment.
Exposure to hospitality, food service or healthcare industry ideal.
Solid financial analysis and reporting capability.
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI skills.
Sound commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail.
Solid stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
Experience with Oracle or SAP ERP and VBA/Macros will be highly regarded.
