Oracle Fusion Cloud Administrator

AUD 108,571 – 119,893 Annual Gross (salary range is indicative and may be subject to suitable enhancements based on internal company processes)

Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide end‑to‑end architecture, design, provisioning, and administration of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, including compute, storage, networking (VCN, subnets), and security components, ensuring alignment with departmental standards and enterprise cloud frameworks.
- Perform ongoing management and optimisation of cloud infrastructure, including continuous improvement of OCI environments, supporting steady‑state operations through configuration updates, operational enhancements, and stabilisation activities across on‑premise and third‑party integrated systems.
- Operate and maintain highly available, scalable, and fault‑tolerant OCI environments, including monitoring, testing, and continuous improvement of HA and DR capabilities to ensure resilience and uninterrupted service delivery.
- Deliver comprehensive system administration across Windows and Linux platforms, including patch management, scripting, environment hardening, and ongoing operational support in line with security and compliance requirements.
- Establish and manage secure cloud network architectures, including VPN connectivity, DNS, load balancing, and integration with enterprise network services and third‑party providers.
- Manage Identity and Access Management solutions, including IDCS/IAM configuration and SSO, ensuring secure and streamlined access to applications.
- Support integration of OCI‑hosted systems with on‑premise and external applications,
enabling seamless data exchange and interoperability across the departmental ecosystem.
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, EPM, OIC) administration.
- Strong understanding of OCI fundamentals and cloud environment management.
- Knowledge of cloud security and compliance practices.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Understanding of middleware and integration concepts, especially with OIC.
- Ability to troubleshoot application and infrastructure‑related issues.
Preferred
- Perform day‑to‑day infrastructure operations including capacity planning, backup and restore management, monitoring, and performance optimisation to ensure high service availability.
- Administer OCI IaaS and PaaS services, including Autonomous Databases and Exadata Cloud Services, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Define and maintain cloud optimisation strategies, including preparation of architecture designs, bill of materials, and cost‑effective deployment models aligned to departmental objectives.
- Experience working within public sector environments is preferred and highly desirable, particularly with an understanding of government compliance, security standards, and governance frameworks.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
