Position: Assistant Accountant Intern – Internship in Perth, WA

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Assistant Accountant Intern to join our client’s dynamic team for a 3‑month internship. This role offers a valuable opportunity for recent graduates or current students pursuing a degree in Accounting to gain hands‑on experience in the hospitality industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Contribute to ad‑hoc tasks and projects as needed
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:





- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

DURATION:

This is a 3‑month internship with the possibility of extension based on performance and company needs.
