Exercise Physiologist – Temporary Full‑time (12‑Week Contract)
This is a temporary full‑time position (12‑week contract), Level 1‑2, based in Ryde. The role offers salary packaging up to $9,000 pre‑tax, a Fitness Passport for discounted gym and aquatic centre access, and for NSW Health and NSW Health AHO employees the ability to transfer accrued leave entitlements.

About The Role
Join the Royal Rehab Private Hospital Day Rehabilitation team as an Exercise Physiologist and help transform lives through personalised, evidence‑based interventions. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will assess clients, deliver individual and group treatment sessions, and provide hydrotherapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based exercise physiology interventions based on sound clinical reasoning following comprehensive assessment.
- Conduct individual treatment sessions.
- Run group exercise classes.
- Provide hydrotherapy sessions.
- Refer clients to ongoing therapy programmes as necessary.
- Complete discharge summaries within set timeframes.
- Attend and participate in case conferences.
Essential Criteria
- Accredited Exercise Physiologist with ESSA.
- Experience working in a Day Rehabilitation setting.
- Demonstrated experience with exercise prescription and running group exercise programs for a variety of health conditions.
- Experience conducting hydrotherapy groups and competent swimmer.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to evidence‑based practice.
- Excellent time management and self‑organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience running PD Warrior exercise groups.
