About the role

We are seeking an experienced concreter to join our team on a casual basis. This role is based in Yandina, QLD 4561, and offers flexibility for qualified tradespeople looking for ongoing work in the building trades. As an Experienced Concreter, you will play a crucial role in delivering precision concrete work across our diverse project portfolio. Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality of our finished products and the satisfaction of our clients.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing concrete work sites, including formwork setup and site assessment

- Mixing and pouring concrete to specifications, ensuring proper consistency and coverage

- Finishing concrete surfaces to the required standard, including smoothing, levelling and texturing

- Operating concrete tools and equipment safely and effectively

- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications to ensure accuracy

- Collaborating with site supervisors and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines

- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace health and safety standards

- Quality checking work to ensure it meets industry standards and client expectations

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a concreter with a solid track record in residential, commercial or industrial concrete work





- Sound knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing and curing techniques

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

- Proficiency with concrete tools and equipment, including power tools and finishing equipment

- A current driver's licence for travel to job sites

- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and commitment to protected work practices

- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship

- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Relevant qualifications or certifications in concreting or building trades (preferred)

- Familiarity with Sunshine Coast building projects and local conditions (advantageous)
