We’re hiring 3 Casual Aged Care Assistants to help make a real difference in the lives of our clients! Still Able is a small, family-run business passionate about providing compassionate care to our community.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide tailored support for Aged Care Clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily activities such as domestic assistance, social outings and transport.
- Build positive relationships and create meaningful connections.
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring and empathetic nature with a commitment to empowering others.
- Flexibility to work casual shifts
- Comfortable with hands-on domestic duties — some of the work involves labour-intensive cleaning and household tasks
- A current driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience is a bonus, but training will be provided!
Highly desirable: A qualification in Aged Care (e.g. Cert III Individual Support – Ageing), enabling the candidate to also support our Personal Care clientele
Essential: Fluent spoken and written English, with clear, easy-to-understand verbal communication — some of our clients are hard of hearing or rely on transparent speech patterns to communicate effectively.
