The Client
Our client is an established industry leader with a strong national presence and reputation. They are seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant to join their finance team in a broad role offering exposure across reporting, compliance, payroll and business operations.
You will take ownership of key accounting processes while supporting a high-performing team in a successful and growing organisation.
The Role
- Month-end, half-year and year-end processes
- Preparation of management reports and financial reportingli>
- Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- BAS, IAS, PAYG, FBT and Payroll Tax compliance
- Payroll support and processing
- Cashflow management and forecasting
- Budgeting support and variance analysis
- Fixed asset register management
- Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Assisting with external audits
- Continuous process improvement initiatives
- Ad hoc finance and reporting duties
The Person
- Minimum 3 years' accounting experience
- Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards completion
- Strong experience across month-end reporting and financial accounting
- Solid understanding of compliance and statutory reporting requirements
- Strong Excel and systems capability
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
