Taikunthi Restaurant is an exciting new addition to the culinary scene in Adelaide, located in Union House on the University of Adelaide's prestigious North Terrace campus. Operated by the National Wine Centre of Australia (NWC), Taikunthi which means ‘come together,’ is a sophisticated, premium café-style venue, offering refined dishes that celebrate the finest local produce.

The prospect exists for an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our dynamic kitchen team on casual basis in our Taikunthi kitchen.

The successful candidates must have the following skills, experience & availability:

- Formal qualification in Commercial Cookery;
- Substantial restaurant or café experience;
- A demonstrated understanding of food costs and inventory control;
- An excellent understanding of food, hygiene and WHS practices;
- Effective communication & teamwork skills.





This role is ideally suited to a team player who is prepared to take direction and work in a very busy environment. Initiative and a commitment to following safe work practices is essential. `

Taikunthi’s current trading hours are:

Monday 8:00am–5pm

Tuesday 8:00am–5pm

Wednesday 8:00am–6pm

Thursday 8:00am–6pm

Friday 8:00am–7pm
