Lutheran Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse to join our Immanuel Gardens Aged Care team. In this role, you’ll provide clinical guidance to nursing and care staff while promoting the highest standards of wellness, engagement, and person-centred care for residents.
Location: Buderim,QLD
Employment Type: Full Time (Monday to Friday 7.00am - 3.00pm)
As a Clinical Nurse, you will build strong relationships with staff, residents, stakeholders and families. The ideal candidate for this position will hold unrestricted AHPRA Registration (Nursing) and have a minimum of two years' experience working in Aged Care. You must have sound experience in wound management and clinical documentation; you must be passionate about providing exceptional care to our elderly residents.
Provide hands-on clinical leadership and mentoring to care teams to deliver person-centred careDrive quality improvement initiatives aligned with Aged Care Quality StandardsOversee medication management, clinical documentation,
and direct care deliverySupport new resident admissions and discharges with professionalism and compassionGuide and coach staff to deliver care that respects resident dignity and autonomyCoordinate and manage clinical rosters and staff development reviewsAssist in recruitment and workforce planning with the Service ManagerSupport the development and implementation of clinical and service planning
About You
Unrestricted AHPRA registrationClinical leadership experience in the aged care sectorStrong working knowledge of AN-ACC funding and aged care accreditationExcellent communication and leadership skillsA collaborative mindset with a commitment to quality careNDIS Worker Screening and/or Valid Police Check
