KKN Foods Pty Ltd is a rapidly expanding restaurant company, with a brand new Indian restaurant opening in Acacia Ridge, QLD. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team on a full-time basis.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment. Your main goal will be to consistently deliver high-quality, authentic and flavorful dishes to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to the restaurant's menu and recipes
- Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements

- Minimum of 12 months of experience as a Cook in a high-volume restaurant




- Proven experience in cooking Indian cuisine
- Excellent knowledge of Indian spices and ingredients
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Relevant culinary qualifications (Certificate III in commercial cookery) will be highly regarded

We are offering a competitive salary of $74000 to $78000 for the right candidate, along with opportunities for career growth and development within our expanding company.
