Lauriston Girls’ School is seeking passionate and experienced Rowing Coaches to join our rowing program and support students to achieve their potential both on and off the water. The role involves planning and delivering engaging, progressive and student‑centred coaching sessions, fostering a safe and inclusive environment, and promoting the values of the Lauriston Rowing Program.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver coaching sessions for student athletes across a range of skill levels.
- Design engaging, student‑centred sessions that support physical, technical and personal development.
- Foster a safe, inclusive and positive team environment.
- Collaborate with the coaching team to promote the values of the Rowing Programme and provide a rewarding sporting experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 1 Coaching Accreditation.
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check.
- Victorian Marine Licence.
- Experience coaching rowing athletes and crews across a range of skill levels.
- Strengths in communication, interpersonal skills and relationship building with students, families and colleagues.
- Integrity, responsibility and respect for others, commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive and supportive team environment.
- Professionalism and ability to work collaboratively within a coaching team.
