Project Manager job in Brisbane | contract to Dec 2026, lead major business transformation program.

An exciting prospect exists for an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-profile business transformation initiative within a well-known global financial services organisation.

This role will play a critical part in delivering a major enterprise-wide rebranding program, helping establish the governance, stakeholder engagement and delivery framework required to support the organisation's transition to a new global brand.

Working within the Communications function, this is not a traditional marketing role. Instead, you will act as the central coordinator across multiple business functions, ensuring stakeholders are aligned, risks are managed, and the organisation is set up for successful program execution.

Your new role

Reporting into senior business stakeholders, you will be responsible for establishing and mobilising the go-to-market framework that will underpin the wider rebrand program.

Key responsibilities include:

- Identifying and engaging stakeholders across all areas of the business
- Establishing governance structures, steering committees and reporting frameworks
- Auditing existing customer touchpoints, collateral and branded assets
- Mapping customer journey impacts and business dependencies
- Developing project plans, delivery roadmaps and implementation frameworks
- Coordinating activities across marketing, operations, sales, legal, technology and external partners
- Managing program risks, issues and resource constraints
- Driving stakeholder accountability and ensuring delivery milestones are achieved




- Supporting business readiness and change adoption activities
- Working alongside technical project teams to align business and technology workstreams

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience delivering enterprise-wide business change or transformation programs
- Strong project governance and stakeholder management experience
- Experience establishing operating models, frameworks and delivery structures from the ground up
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Strong planning, risk management and program coordination capabilities
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Experience within financial services, insurance or other large corporate environments will be highly regarded

- Brand transformation or rebranding programs
- Go-to-market initiatives
