About the Prospect
This permanent full-time role provides quality, safe, person-centred physiotherapy clinical care to the allocated caseload across GEM (including home visits) ensuring a holistic and multidisciplinary team approach.
- Grade 2, permanent full-time Physiotherapist, commencing 15/6/26
- Based in the friendly and supportive physiotherapy team at Werribee Mercy Hospital
- This role provides quality, evidence based, flexible, person-centred physiotherapy clinical care in the designated caseload
- Provides supervision and support to Grade 1 Physiotherapists and Physiotherapy students
- Assists with weekend / public holiday shifts as required

What You'll Bring

- AHPRA-recognised degree in Physiotherapy, full and unlimited AHPRA physiotherapy registration and current Victorian (or equivalent) full Drivers Licence.
- Ideally 2 years minimum, broad and relevant clinical physiotherapy experience in a hospital setting including acute and sub-acute care and care in the home.
- Experience in supervision of Grade 1 physiotherapists and physiotherapy students desirable.
- Willingness to participate in weekend / public holiday shifts as required is essential.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, commitment to person-centred care, ability to adapt and learn quickly, and work flexibly within a team.
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise competing tasks in a timely manner within a complex work setting.
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Enthusiastic, dedicated, team-oriented, flexible, adaptable and friendly, with a philosophy of continual improvement and evidence-based practice.
Required Credentials
And you will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Victorian (or equivalent) full Drivers Licence
- Full and unlimited AHPRA physiotherapy registration
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
