Roles & Responsibilities

Emergency Department (Critical Care)

- Fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment with 12‑hour shifts
- Comprehensive triage, escalation and clinical decision‑making across the full acuity spectrum
- Team culture focused on staffing levels, staff wellbeing and psychological safety

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

- Advanced life support and complex patient monitoring for patients with multi‑system illness or injury
- Structured learning pathways for experienced ICU nurses and for RNs transitioning into critical care
- Collaborative, education‑focused team invested in long‑term development

Inpatient & Specialty Wards – Nursing Support Roster (Permanent & Temporary)

- Work across multiple acute areas to maintain protected, high‑quality care during periods of leave, surge or workforce pressure
- Support teams during critical workforce gaps and develop adaptability and resilience

Short Stay Overflow – Temporary (3F Ward)

- Provide efficient, patients‑centred care for short‑stay, uncomplicated surgical patients and for those near discharge
- Support hospital flow and improve access block during busy periods

Medical Assessment Unit – Temporary

- Deliver rapid, senior‑led multidisciplinary care within a short‑stay model

Perioperative – Temporary

- Work in a dynamic team at Wyong theatre as an anaesthetic nurse

Acute Geriatrics & Rehabilitation – Temporary & Permanent

- Provide holistic,



dignity‑focused care for older adults through acute illness and recovery

General Medicine & Coronary Care – Temporary

- Build acute capability in cardiac monitoring, medical assessment and clinical escalation within an education‑focused team

Neurology & Stroke – Temporary

- Care for patients with stroke, seizures and brain injury, supported by multidisciplinary teams and structured learning pathways

About You

- Current AHPRA registration
- Current working rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship available)
- At least 12 months acute clinical experience in Australia
- Strong clinical judgement and escalation capability
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- A collaborative, professional approach
- Adaptable, accountable and confident in your clinical practice
