About the Role

Securecorp is seeking a professional, customer-focused Security Officer to join our team at a premium residential apartment complex located at South Brisbane.

Brief Description

This is a permanent part time position suited to someone who enjoys engaging with residents, visitors, contractors, and building management while maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.

Roster

- Monday, Tuesday & Friday: 4:15pm – 9:15pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:15am – 9:15pm

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular foot patrols of the building, common areas, and surrounding grounds
- Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and security alarms
- Manage visitor and contractor access in accordance with site procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and resident enquiries
- Maintain accurate incident reports and daily activity logsLiaise with building management, contractors, residents, and emergency services as required
- Monitor and report maintenance, safety, and security concerns




- Ensure compliance with site procedures and company policies

Skills & Experience

- Current QLD Security Provider Licence with Crowd Control
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional presentation and approachable manner
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- High attention to detail and report-writing capability
- Previous experience in residential, concierge, customer service, or security environments (highly regarded)
- Full Australian working rights
