About The Role

Ventia is on the hunt for a motivated and customer-focused Café Allrounder to join our team in Defence Plaza, Melbourne CBD , with availability for a Fisherman’s Bend location when required to support front‐of‐house operations within Defence facilities in our Commercial Operations sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality, coffee, and delivering outstanding service in a professional and collaborative environment.

About You

Working collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and Defence personnel, the café attendant ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that meets organisational and client expectations. The position also promotes a culture of professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement to enhance customer experience and operational excellence as well as providing great coffee.

- Hotel and/or TAFE Qualifications in Food and Beverage
- Food Handlers Certificate Level 1
- Experience in hospitality,



catering and café operations
- Delivering outstanding service to all guests, every shift
- Working as part of a friendly, supportive team
- Following food and safety and hygiene standards

Eligibility Requirements

Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police Check.
