Responsibilities

- Challenge advanced language models on topics such as contextual interpretation, tone and meaning, dialectical distinctions, semantic accuracy, and cultural nuance, documenting every failure mode.
- Conversate with the model in Mapudungun across a wide range of topics, verify linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance, capture reproducible error traces,



and suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Qualifications

- A Master’s degree in Linguistics, Indigenous Studies, Translation, or a related field is ideal.
- Professional experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work signals fit.
- Clear, metacognitive communication—“showing your work”—is essential.

Compensation

Pay range: $8 to $65 per hour. Final offer amounts may vary based on experience, expertise, and geographic location.
