We are looking for an Event Lead who loves being on the tools. This is a hands-on, on-site role first and foremost: you’ll be setting up, styling and packing down events, and leading the crew on the day to bring each event to life. Reporting to the Event Projects Lead, you’ll take ownership of the on-site setup and make sure every event is delivered to a standard our clients rave about.

As you master our events, gear and standards, you’ll take on more responsibility on-site, with a genuine pathway to grow into an Event Projects Lead role over time.

About You

To be successful in this position with us, you’ll have:

A genuine ‘doer’ who enjoys physical, hands-on work setting up, installing and packing down events, and comfortable lifting up to 23kg repetitively across long event days

1+ years’ hands-on experience in event setup and installation (or similar, such as event hire, styling, staging, AV or exhibitions)

Experience leading or coordinating a small team on-site, or the readiness and confidence to step up into it

An Open Manual Drivers Licence (essential, you’ll be driving our vehicles to site)

A strong eye for styling and detail, adjusting positions and angles until everything looks consistent, uniform and perfect

A calm, solutions-focused approach when things change at pace

Good communication skills with crew, venue staff and clients, in person, on the phone and over email

Availability for regular evening and weekend work, and the fitness for physical work

Willingness to travel to venues throughout South East Queensland and nationally as required

Confidence with systems and technology (experience with Arrivy, Current RMS, Monday.com or G-Suite is a bonus but not essential, we’ll show you)

This is a hands-on, on-site role based wherever the event is, with prep and load-out from our Burleigh Heads warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

On-Site Setup & Pack-Down: leading the physical setup, installation and pack-down of events, working from floor plans and briefing notes, and styling every element until the finished look meets our brand standards

Leading the Crew: directing the Event Crew on-site, delegating tasks to keep the team productive and on track, training less experienced crew, and keeping morale and professionalism high

Quality & Safety: quality-checking the setup before sign-off, following and enforcing WHS and SWMS on every job, reporting any hazards or incidents, and caring for our equipment to minimise damage

Stock Accuracy: using checklists to confirm all stock is collected and loaded before leaving site, and reporting any missing or damaged items straight away through our standard process

Client & Venue Liaison: working professionally with venue staff, handling minor client requests and adjustments on-site, and escalating anything bigger to the Event Projects Lead
