Summary:

As a Support Worker in the Community Services & Development sector, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need. Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care and support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and personal hygiene.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other professionals.
- Monitor and report on clients’ progress and any changes in their condition to the appropriate team members.




- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
- Support clients in engaging with community resources and activities to promote social inclusion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and care provided.

Qualifications:

- A relevant qualification in Community Services, Health, or Social Care (e.g., Certificate III in Individual Support).
- Previous experience in a support worker or similar role is preferred.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
