We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Purlin Machine Operator to join our afternoon shift team. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing experience who takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor purlin roll-forming machinery
- Read and interpret production drawings and punching details
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Safely load, unload and move materials throughout the production area
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Skills & Experience
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Overhead Crane experience (preferred)
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings,
including punching details
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Manufacturing or steel industry experience highly regarded
