About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain & Logistics Officer to join our team in Canberra, ACT 2600 on a full-time basis. This role is central to our operations, responsible for coordinating and optimising our supply chain processes, procurement and logistics activities.

You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials through our supply network, contributing directly to the efficiency and profitability of the organisation. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse logistics challenges whilst developing your expertise in production planning and supply chain coordination.

What you'll be doing

1. Supply Chain Management - Coordinate end‑to‑end supply chain activities to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment, support cross functional teams, maintain accurate supply chain data.

2. Purchasing & Procurement - Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and compliance. Prepare PO's,



negotiate terms and pricing.

3. Logistics & Distribution - Plan and coordinate transportation, shipping, and delivery schedules to meet operational timelines, manage relationships. ensure compliance.

4. Inventory & Materials Management - Monitor inventory levels, implement control procedures, maintain records, support demand planning.

What we're looking for

A recognised qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Demonstrated experience in supply chain coordination, procurement and/or logistics operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment

Proficiency with supply chain management systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

Ability to obtain and hold an AGSVA Security Clearance
