We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join the Scylla Maintenance Team, working on the Collins Class Submarines. This is a permanent chance based in Rockingham, WA.

Key Responsibilities

- Work on complex and diverse systems across electrical and IT based disciplines
- Provide support to the Maritime and Ship Repair Services Domain for a range of weapon systems
- Manage time effectively to ensure tasks are completed in line with complex scheduled activities
- Work remotely across a range of locations from shipyards and RAN platforms, outside of Thales’ usual scope
- Ensure all compliance is correct in line with third parties also present at these sites
- Occasional interstate and international travel to support the above activities

Your Skills

- Certificate 4 in Electronics
- An electrical trade with relevant experience
- NV1 and ITAR clearance
- Ability to work within tight,



confined spaces within the submarines themselves
- 4+ years’ experience in fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of complex equipment and systems
- A proven track record in quality assurance
