An exciting opportunity is available for experienced HD Fitters to join a leading mining operation at Gudai-Darri supporting autonomous drill maintenance and breakdowns across a busy site operation.

- FIFO from Perth (Thursday) or Busselton (Wednesday)
- Long-term assignment
- Even-time lifestyle roster: 8:6 Dayshift rotating 7:7 Nightshift

The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing autonomous and manually operated drill equipment in a high-production mining environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong diagnostic ability and confidence working under pressure during in-pit breakdowns.

Duties Include

- Daily machine inspections
- Breakdown diagnostics and repairs
- Fault finding and assessment work
- Maintenance on CAT ND and Sandvik equipment




- Supporting autonomous drill operations
- Ensuring secure and efficient maintenance practices

About You
To be successful, you will have:

- Australian recognised HD Mechanical qualification
- Previous HME mining experience
- Strong breakdown and troubleshooting capability
- Forklift ticket (essential)
- Working at Heights ticket (preferred)
- Ability to adapt to complexity

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, autonomy, and working with advanced mining technology in a production-focused environment.

This role flies from Perth to site, we are only able to consider people based in Perth or close surrounds.
