Salary: $154,722 - $185,648 (Plus 12.5% Super)

About the role:

To be eligible to apply for this position you must be PGY4 +. This position is part-time (0.6 FTE), commencing as soon as possible for 12 months with possible extension

North Canberra Hospital (formerly Calvary Public Hospital Bruce) and Clare Holland House are now run and operated by Canberra Health Services (CHS). This is a significant milestone as the ACT Government is moving towards delivering a new hospital on Canberra’s Northside.

The new Northside Hospital will be built on the existing North Canberra Hospital (NCH) campus in Bruce. It will be a modern, state-of-the-art hospital for patients, visitors and its workforce and will provide more beds and increased services. Until then, it's business as usual at NCH, and we'll keep providing high-quality care to our patients and community.

As the CMO, you will work as part of the Emergency Medicine multi-disciplinary team assisting consultants with clinical management of patients and applying medical knowledge and experience in the clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment and ongoing management and appropriate discharge of patients.

Prior to commencement, the successful candidates will be required to:

• Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check

• Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy
