Lala Hospitality Group is the team behind five of Canberra's most loved venues: Molly, VICE, Highball, 88mph, and Amici Wine Bar & Deli. We're growing, and we're looking for great people to grow with us across all five venues.

VENUE & BAR MANAGERS
Part time & full time positions available

Our venues each have their own personality, but they share a high standard of service and a team that really cares.

We're looking for managers who are prepared to take ownership, lead by example, keep their cool when it's busy, and always put the guest experience at the heart of every decision. We want managers who are confident, positive, and bring ideas to the table, not just someone who keeps the lights on.

What we're looking for:

- Solid experience in venue, bar or floor management

- Great communication and the ability to think on your feet

- Confident, opinionated, and full of ideas

- A natural leader who people actually want to work for

- High standards across service, presentation, and operations

- RSA certification and a working knowledge of ACT liquor licensing

CHEFS
Part time & full time positions available

Our kitchens are fast, focused, and run by people who really care about what they produce. We're looking for chefs who take pride in their work, thrive under pressure, and understand that consistency is as significant as creativity.

What we're looking for:

- Experience in a professional kitchen

- Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge

- The ability to work well under pressure without cutting corners

- A collaborative attitude and respect for the people around you

- Formal culinary qualifications or equivalent experience





WAITSTAFF

Our venues are fast paced and full of people who are there to have a great time. We're looking for waitstaff who enjoy being part of that: people who are warm, attentive, and take real pride in looking after their guests from the moment they sit down to the moment they leave.

What we're looking for:

- Experience in a busy restaurant or bar environment

- Warm, professional, attentive, and well presented

- Confident making recommendations and reading what a table needs

- A team player who can keep calm under pressure

- Current RSA certification

HOSTS

First impressions matter, and our hosts are the first face guests see when they walk through the door. We're looking for people who are naturally warm, confident, and well presented, people who make every guest feel welcome before they've even sat down.

What we're looking for:

- Experience in a front of house or hosting role

- Exceptional presentation and a naturally warm manner

- Comfortable managing reservations, waitlists, and guest expectations

- Cool, calm, and gracious when things get busy
