About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing Engineering team in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical engineering expertise with business development, client relationship management and project delivery.

Working across commercial and industrial sectors, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, preparing competitive tenders and proposals, and managing projects through to completion.

This role is ideal for someone who is commercially minded, technically capable and enjoys taking ownership of projects while helping grow a specialist engineering business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory in the Industrial cooling tower and HVAC markets.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, contractors, clients and internal teams.

- Prepare tenders and technical proposals for cooling tower and HVAC projects.

- Conduct site inspections and provide technical recommendations.

- Manage client accounts and act as the primary point of contact throughout project delivery.

- Coordinate projects through to completion, ensuring quality, safety and client satisfaction.

- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.





- Monitor market trends and upcoming project opportunities.

- Achieve sales and business growth targets while maintaining exceptional customer service

- Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings.

About You
You are a proactive and relationship-focused professional who enjoys developing business while applying your technical knowledge. Ideally you will have:

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline

- Experience within the HVAC, cooling tower, mechanical services or industrial engineering industry

- Demonstrated experience in business development, technical sales, account management or project management.

- Experience preparing tenders, quotations and technical submissions.

- Solid commercial acumen with the ability to identify and secure new opportunities.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Strong organisational and project management abilities

- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

- A current Australian driver’s licence.

Desirable Experience

- Experience with cooling tower maintenance, refurbishment, replacement or construction projects.

- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and mechanical services

- Existing relationships within the Western Australian construction, mining, industrial or facilities management sectors

- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
