Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist in Wangara, Western Australia, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve independence and improve their quality of life. You will work collaboratively with clients to assess their needs and develop tailored therapeutic interventions, contributing to their overall well-being and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on client goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance clients’ daily living skills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate clients and their families about treatment options and strategies.
- Monitor and document clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions.

About You:

- You’re a qualified Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration (or eligible).

- Experience with equipment handling and psychosocial conditions is a plus but not required.
