About The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to take ownership of day to day warehouse operations. This role is focused on process, performance, and people. Standard hours: 7.30am – 4.00pm

Key Responsibilities

Manage warehouse operations including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory controlOversee logistics and forklift operations to ensure efficient workflowsImplement and improve operational processes and proceduresLead, train, and support nine warehouse team membersMaintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance standardsOperate with an owner-operator mentality. Must be proactive and accountableContribute to a positive, team-driven workplace cultureUse basic computer systems for tracking and coordination

Requirements





Proven experience in warehouse or logistics operationsStrong leadership and team management skillsOrganised, self-starter with a hands-on approachValid forklift licenceComputer literate; Excel proficiency a bonusExperience in the metal industry preferred but not requiredMR/HR licence is preferred but not required A commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and othersAn ability to translate business objectives to clear actions and outcomes for your team
