Victoria Park Orthodontics is growing, and we're looking for an exceptional Orthodontic/Dental Assistant to join our fun, vibrant and friendly team!

About The Role

As part of our clinical team, you'll be involved in a variety of tasks, including:

- Chairside assisting our Orthodontists and Oral Health Therapists

- Welcoming and supporting patients and their families, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for

- Taking clinical photographs and digital 3D intraoral scans

- Providing clear and friendly instructions to patients

- :Preparing and handling dental instruments for treatment

- Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation

- Keeping treatment areas clean, organised and well prepared

- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records

- Assisting with appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups

About You

We're looking for someone who is friendly, caring and genuinely enjoys working with people. You'll be someone who takes pride in providing a great patient experience and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.

You will ideally be:

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to stay calm and organised when things get busy

- Eager to learn, develop your skills and take on new challenges

Previous dental or orthodontic assisting experience is preferred, but we're also open to Cert III or Cert IV Dental Assisting graduates who are keen to build their skills. Full training and support will be provided to the right person.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who will bring a great attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for patient care.

Roster

Permanent part-time: Thursdays and Fridays
⏰ Hours: 8:15 am – 5:15 pm, with occasional Thursday finishes at 5:45 pm

From spring, we occasionally see patients until 5:30 pm on alternate Thursdays, so a later finish will be required on these days.
