Member Services & Events Executive

Location: Perth CBD (Modern Office)
Contract: Maternity Leave Cover until 30 April 2027
Hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week across 3 days
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in the office)
Working Hours: Standard business hours with occasional after-hours work for events and quarterly committee meetings. No weekend work required.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Member Services & Events Executive to support the delivery of an outstanding member experience. Reporting to the State Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating a diverse portfolio of events and professional development activities while serving as a trusted point of contact for members and stakeholders across Western Australia. This position is ideal for someone with experience in hospitality, events, customer service, or membership engagement who is looking to apply their relationship-building and organisational skills within a professional corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and deliver a range of events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, webinars, and networking functions.

- Manage and support member groups, including Divisional Councils, Committees, and Discussion Groups.

- Oversee end-to-end event logistics for both in-person and virtual events, ensuring a seamless attendee experience.

- Promote membership, events, and services to maximise engagement and participation.

- Manage event budgets, monitor expenditure, and support revenue objectives while ensuring compliance with internal processes.

- Build and maintain robust relationships with members, volunteers, speakers, and key stakeholders.

- Support member communications, including newsletters, event marketing, and regular updates.





- Respond to member enquiries and feedback in a professional and timely manner.

- Provide general administrative and operational support to the local office.

About You

You are a highly organised and personable professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and creating positive experiences for members and stakeholders.

- Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated experience coordinating events from planning through to delivery.

- Strong customer service, membership, or stakeholder engagement experience, with hospitality experience highly regarded.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience managing budgets, invoicing, and expense reconciliation.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.

- A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to service excellence.
