We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service/Maintenance Supervisor – HVAC&R; to lead our busy service and maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation, servicing, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R;) systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior technician with strong technical knowledge, leadership skills and intermediate computer skills to step into an supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the HVAC&R; technicians and maintenance team
- Plan, schedule, and monitor installation, maintenance, and repair work
- Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance
- Provide technical support to assist in the diagnosis of complex HVAC&R; system faults
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Submit reports and liaise with clients to action repair items
- Train, mentor, and support team members
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and the internal team
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets
- Submit maintenance proposals
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues when required
Requirements
- Trade qualification or certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Services.
- Proven experience in HVAC maintenance, including supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Robust knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC&R; systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret maintenance manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
- Current driver's licence.
