Evolve Talent is seeking qualified HVAC Technicians looking to build or further their FIFO career. We have multiple permanent and casual-ongoing opportunities available across our portfolio of mining clients, with attractive rosters including 8/6, 7/7 and 2/1.

About the Role

As a FIFO HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and fault finding of HVAC and refrigeration systems within a mining camp environment. Working as part of a maintenance team, you will carry out preventative and corrective maintenance across residential villages and mine site facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, service, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across camp facilities.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
- Prioritise workloads and meet maintenance deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs as required.
- Maintain a robust commitment to safety and site compliance.

Skills & Experience

- Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Current WA Refrigerant Handling Licence.
- Current WA Restricted Electrical Licence.
- Construction White Card.
- WA Manual Driver’s Licence.
- Working at Heights.
- CPR/LVR.
- Current First Aid certificate.
- National Police Clearance.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.

Desirable

- Current Rio Tinto, BHP, or Fortescue (FMG) site inductions.
