ConsultANZ is looking for a General Business Manager to join a well-known civil construction company on the East Coast. The role will oversee all aspects of the business, from operations and production to financial performance and team leadership, and will play a key role in driving growth, improving efficiency, and maintaining a strong, hardworking company culture.

Main Responsibilities:

- Lead the business across multiple sites, including a few asphalt plants and four locations.
- Manage and mentor Operations and Production Managers.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Preserve and strengthen a hardworking, positive company culture.

Requirements:

- Degree in Business, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years in senior management or business leadership roles within civil construction.
- Solid, proven experience in asphalt, civil construction, cold seal, and linemarking.




- Experience managing multi-site operations and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong financial skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
