The non-negotiable bit... ?
We need someone 18 years or older who can work EVERY Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00pm-9:00pm.
These shifts are permanent and non-negotiable. If you can't commit to these days and times, please don't apply.
The good news? There are also plenty of opportunities to pick up additional weekday and weekend shifts in both our café/kiosk and our coffee & bar caravan.
We'd love someone who:
☕ Has barista experience (preferred)
? Is genuinely friendly, bubbly and loves making people smile
? Provides amazing customer service every single time
? Shows initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do
? Can spot jobs that need doing and keep things looking beautiful when it's quiet
? Is reliable, honest and enjoys working independently
⚡ Can handle a busy service with a positive attitude
? Is happy to help with everything from making coffees and serving customers to food prep, cleaning and restocking

Banksia Food Co. is a fun, welcoming community café where we love great coffee, delicious food and making people feel at home. No two days are ever the same! One day you'll be serving café regulars, the next you'll be in our coffee caravan at local events.
We're a small team who genuinely enjoys working together, so finding the right person is more significant than finding someone quickly.
If you're the type of person who notices the dishes need doing before being asked, loves a chat with customers and takes pride in your work, we'd love to meet you!
