About the role
As a Retail Supervisor at Bunnings, you are the key support for the store’s senior leadership team. You keep the energy high and workflow smooth in your designated department, leading by example to ensure each day is a success and operations run like a well‑oiled machine.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example by demonstrating best service practices and support the team in providing friendly and helpful advice to customers.
- Coach the team through guidance on appropriate service behaviours.
- Onboard and train new team members by providing training and induction support.
- Ensure merchandising standards meet business requirements.
- Manage and coordinate stock effectively.
Qualifications
- Genuine passion for retail and customer service.
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Open communication skills and a genuine interest in coaching and developing others.
- Ability to guide, support, coach and provide constructive feedback to teams.
- Results‑driven, team‑player attitude.
- Approachable and confident, creating positive customer experiences.
- Enthusiastic to learn about new products and keep up with industry trends.
- Ability to remain on feet assisting customers across a wide range of retail hours.
- Trade experience is an added bonus.
Compensation
Adult pay rate for 18 years of age and above: $30.78 per hour.
