Role Title: Project Officer

Grade: 7/8 ($116,981 - $129,492 + Super)
Location: Parramatta (Hybrid working with minimum 2 days in office)
Term: Temporary – Until 18 December with a strong possibility of extension

About the team
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Building Compliance Support Team, Building Compliance team. The Building Compliance directorate is responsible for proactive compliance, inspections and audits of Class 1,2,3 and 9c buildings. The team also investigates complaints and referrals relating to non-compliant building work, issues rectification orders under various Acts (pre or post occupation) and Certifier investigations.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
-Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to understand, document, and improve existing business processes.
-Develop, document, and maintain business processes, procedures, and operational guidelines to support consistent and effective service delivery.
-Support the senior project officer in performing functions of strategy, governance and business continuity
-Identify organisational risks and recommend evidence-based solutions
-Analyse reporting methods and assist in the improvement of data integrity

To be successful in this role you will have:
-Demonstrated experience in supporting business analysis and working on multiple projects in agile and waterfall environments.
-Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
-An ability to think innovatively and support the development of solutions fit for purpose.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to a range of stakeholders.
-Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines and balance competing needs.
-Experience in CAS, Visio,



Sharepoint and Power BI (desirable)

Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $116,981 base plus superannuation
