- Work collaboratively with the Director and Deputy Directors of Nursing and Midwifery Education to provide quality education and promote excellence in professional practice through empowering nurses in the public health sector.
- Provide clinical education and support to paediatric nursing staff.
- Develop and deliver educational programs, resources and initiatives to improve patient‑centred care across the paediatric workforce.
- Incorporate cutting-edge approaches to problem solving and continuous improvement of paediatric practice.
- Maintain accurate records of training, competencies, and evidence of professional development.
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of a culture of learning and improvement.
Qualifications and experience:
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Relevant post‑licensure qualifications and experience in paediatrics.
- Recent clinical education experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational, time‑management and supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt, problem‑solve and innovate.
- Resilient, compassionate and committed to delivering exceptional patient‑centred care.
Required evidence / checks:
- Current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and compliance with public health orders.
